Dr. Carl Tyler Shenkman, is a board certified neurologist, with fellowship training in epilepsy and neuro-critical care management.
He is the neurological director of Bayonet Regional Medical Center and manages the intense neurological conditions. Additionally, he is also the chairman of neurological quality care.
His residency was in neurology at the NY Medical College of the Archdiocese St Vincent’s Medical Center. He further advanced his neurological training at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, Neurological Institute of Manhattan, in Epilepsy and neuro-critical care management.
Initially, he began practice in Atlanta, however, he moved to the Golden Isles of Southeast Georgia to open a neurological practice for 20 years.
Consequently, an opportunity to advance his career came to Tampa Bay where he devotes his neurological practice.
Furthermore, he advanced his education and graduated with a Juris doctorate , during a full-time practice, from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2014. Subsequently, he obtained his postdoctoral master of healthcare law, an LLM, from the prestigious Loyola School of Law, Chicago in 2016. He currently is an expert in cause and effect for all facets of neurological injuries.
Lastly, Dr Shenkman, is further pursuing a certification in Life Care Planning to be an expert witness for the future medical needs and economic requirements for neurological traumas.
